Who Should Consider Trawick Travel Insurance?
Trawick Travel Insurance is best suited for travelers taking expensive and extensive international trips, or those with pre-existing medical conditions. The comprehensive coverage options provide superior value in several scenarios.
Lengthy Multi-Country Journeys
Individuals embarking on round-the-world trips spanning 6-12 months will pass through dozens of countries with varying healthcare infrastructure. Trawick’s annual multi-trip plans paired with high medical evacuation limits gives peace of mind while traversing remote areas.[1] This is ideal for extended backpacker trips.
Families with Young Children
Parents traveling internationally with infants/toddlers require robust medical coverage as young kids are prone to illness. Trawick waives deductibles and co-pays for children under two, eliminating high medical costs that can otherwise derail a family vacation.
Citizens Living Abroad
Americans, Canadians and Australians relocating overseas long-term for education, work or retirement rely on Trawick’s specialized expatriate/international student plans. Wide provider networks ensure access to quality healthcare worldwide.
High-Risk Destination Travel
Journeys to underdeveloped nations with poor medical infrastructure and higher security hazards mandate optimal protection. Trawick’s top-tier plans and 24/7 emergency response services give relief in unstable regions.
Pre-Existing Conditions
Those managing chronic illnesses will face no surcharges or coverage restrictions with Trawick. The $2,500 pre-existing waiver enhances global access to treatment continuity.
Alternatively, short-term travelers on basic domestic US trips under 30 days can save with credit card cancellation coverage or budget insurers for trips within North America. However, international destinations require Trawick’s in-depth support.

It took 6 months but they paid my claims
Travel insurance companies always ask for a review immediately after buying the insurance. Those reviews are meaningless. What counts is how they address claims.
It took 7 months and some time spent on finding information and filling out forms, but they did pay.Date of experience: August 09, 2022

Worst assurance provider in the universe
Worst company I have ever delt with. I had a 24hrs flight delayed in LAX on my way home to New Zealand back in January 16. I submitted all the itinerary and flight delayed documents in an email to mysurego late January.
Ever since, they are unable to give me an update on why my application is taking so long. We are in May 2024 now, I have called at least 20 times in the last 5 months . I had to resubmit the same document over and over. When I talk to their staff they say your documents look good and we have escalated your case but no one ever contact me to apologise or for the headache or just give me a bloody update on my escalation… They don’t have any manager for you to talk to and take your escalation. So I have been left out hoping someday, someone will get in touch…Trawick and their partners my surego are useless and I definitely don’t recommend these people. Because it’s been the worst customer service I have received from an Assurance provider.Waste of money and time that’s what awaits you with these people.
